You know what? This could turn out to be the best week in a very long time.

Another of my PTB articles was posted to Slashdot and guess what? The Slashdotters hate it. They call it a blow to common sense and totally lacking information. I think I've finally arrived at a milestone in my writing career; if the Slashdotters hate it then it must be great.

I was telling my coworker about this article that discusses how the Voyager probe is the furthest probe from Earth to travel out into space. He said "Wow, so it's actually at the edge of the universe?"

I'm watching the new Star Trek: First Contact special edition DVD tonight and I realized something.  You know where the Borg are grafting skin onto Data's frame, replacing his artificial skin with real skin?  Which unlucky Enterprise crewman was flayed for Data's benefit, hmm?

I'm feeling better today. I took the day off to rest and sleep (I napped from 11am - almost 4pm) and watched some DVDs the rest of the time. Let me put in a plug for the new DVD set of The Lone Gunmen, one of the best shows you didn't watch in 2001. I went to work again today despite the pain and stuff. I think I may take tomorrow off and just rest. The longer I go without food the weaker I feel. Same as usual.
