I was on my own that day. I felt that if I had to go to that jewelry store/ factory show room place one more time I was going to snap. I had a great weekend last weekend. I went to a place around Morioka. There was an awesome wax museum that had scenes of Japanese history out of the “The Tale of the Heike.”I got to impress my Japanese companion with my mad Japanese Literature skills. Woke up for complimentary breakfast and wait for Tour guy. We go to the marble Temple where I discover one of the ways people worship is by putting gold leaf on the statues.

I'm in Thailand safe and sound. It is nice and warm. Going to temples and a shopping center. They have King Kong at the theater. I saw the tallest standing gold Buddah so now I will see the tallest standing Gorilla. I am having a good time here.
