I've all but completed my first batch of mini construction. All that remains is the painting and gluing of the transparent green linear accelerator rods. Behold!

It is decided. Grills shall henceforth be known as "meat forges."

I have completed building my first Warhammer 40k model. It was a Necron Monolith, and it was the most complex model I've ever put together. Here is the tale of its construction (with many pics!).

My first batch of Warhammer 40,000 minis arrived today, and some had been slightly damaged during shipping. No problem, I have my superglue. In the process, I manage to drop a recently-glued piece and catch it with my left hand, close to my ring. I've never before heard both Hell's Bells and Crazy Train played acoustically during a wedding ceremony, nor do I expect to again. Also, barbecue for lunch. Yum.

We were just fortunate enough to spend the past few days in Vermont. Since we were going up for a wedding anyway, we decided to take an extra day off and have a little mini-vacation which would nearly coincide with our third anniversary.
