Social networking sites. There are too damned many of them. MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, LJ, and now YouTube and even iTunes seem to be getting in on it. There is such a thing as being too connected, in my opinion. I like all my virtual friends just fine, but I also really like my space and privacy ( Read more... )

Having many of the same thoughts. There's only so much social media one can use and still have an actual life.

LJ has always seemed a place to write at greater length, and I see value in that but have less and less time to keep up with it. And, true, LJ is not as great a place as it once was.

Glad to keep following you elsewhere, and congrats on your success. I just finished reading Haunting Experiences and enjoyed it.

Some of it's the hassle of using lj, some has been a severe lack of time. If I thought I was ever busy before this year ... oi! It's a good kind of busy, filled with writing and adventures and filming and lots of other neat things. But there are only so many hours in a day, and some things get trimmed away.

Glad to see you're still kicking around yourself. Take care!

You guys won't get rid of me that fast. Plan on haunting the community after I've moved on.

I've considered leaving LJ myself. I never really have time nor inclination for a long post anymore, I just read through friends' journals and communities sometimes. Yeah the ads are getting annoying too. I hate these pop up ads they added. I also look forward to your feed =)
