New Laptop?

Alright, Zan spent the afternoon convincing me I shouldn't get a new laptop because I don't NEED one.

How does everyone else feel? Should I spend $2,500 on a new MacBook Pro? Or just live with the outdated laptop I have?

If you feel you need a new laptop, get one. That said, I would never spend $2500 on a laptop. Consider some refurbs in the $1500 range, then sell you laptop for $500-800 and it won't hurt so much.

It's your own choice, you're going to do what you want in the end. So it really doesn't matter what anyone says. But otherwise, if it does what you need, and you have a computer for the games you want to play, save the money and do something, ya know, responsible with it. Don't just blow it all in one shot.

Save your money. yes a new lap-top would be nice (I want one too), but in the long run having a little bit of money in the bank is always a good thing. :)
