I took monday off from work due to family issues (those close to me know what issues these are). This morning I woke up feeling a bit off, but not too bad. In the last two weeks I have seen some really good comedy stuff live. Which is cool, because before then I had never seen a live comedy act.

A week ago I saw Bob Marley, which was great. And last night I saw Demetri Martin, also hilarious. Both times I went with my brother (and for Bob Marley the parents were there too). Good times, good times

My grandfather, known to me since I was a little boy as "Papa", passed away this afternoon. He was a war vet, a father of five children and many grandchildren, but most importantly he was a strong man. I'm not sure when the funeral will be, but I will be there.
