What's low carb? No cookies and cake or anything but I was not worried about carbs.

Several hours of good fighting. Lots of Res battles. Toward the end when everyone was tiring out, I started channeling Gunnar and was running all over the place thinking, MUST KILL, MUST KILL!!! ( which I did ).

Generally speaking during tourney season, it will be easy for me to have a basket with food in it under the pavillion in easy reach - since we didn't have a field pavilion and camp was a bit far, it was harder. Tried to keep you fed, but didn't really know what was going on.
Between you and my Laurel, it's all about blood sugar!

Try to keep a Cliff bar or something like that ina small belt pouch to snag a bite of in between battles. I've found that a small handfull of grapes after coming off the field during a list really helps. Plus if you keep them in the cooler nice and cold, They have a nice cooling effect.

I keep a power bar in my "man bag" at all times....for just such needs, if you guys ever need one let me know, its yours.

Ulrich - also all about the blood sugar.

And I always try have snack food for just such reasons under my dayshade when I have it up.
