So here I am, at the library of all places, a very pretty library at that. It's supposed to be the largest library west of the Mississippi. Things have been calm here, no drama or anything of the sort. My boyfriend and I seem to have this mutual agreement to keep things simple. It's really strange actually. We're like an old couple. We're really ( Read more... )

Walking with a latte... I once walked out on a job of six months, just to go for a walk and have a latte. That was a damn good latte... Of course after that I was out of a job for four more months and couldn't pay the rent. But it really was a good latte.

Now, the watching Ewan Macgregor in my underwear thing, I haven't tried that.

It's one thing to be stuck in a routine, but it's another to be stuck and not know it. Just being aware of what's going on underneath makes a big difference I think cause most people aren't. If that makes any sense.

Have you been to the 24 hour Church of Elvis yet?

i often think about you and admire what you do...wal-mart or not. you have alot more discipline and will power than alot of people. you picked yourself up and moved to portland on your own, as part of a dream and you did it the right way. you did it alone, as part of a desire you had for yourself and yourself only. you seem to have a grasp on yourself and what you want...even if it hides underneath sometimes...:)

Hmmm...thank you Jenny...you make me feel better...It's hard sometimes, especially when I realize my bf will be gone soon. I've been trying to get a meaner outer shell, to protect myself from constant panhandling, petitioners, creeps, and weirdos. I've decided to go to school in January at the community college, after all dammit, if I work at Wal-mart for the rest of my life I swear I'll blow my head off with a gun. :) Anyway, I figure it will keep me out of trouble and give me a sense of beloning and purpose. However, the good 'ol routine has it's drawbacks. So in that sense, I admire the fact that you have the guts to place yourself in entirely different elements and manage to survive. That is something that I do not think I could pull off. Girl, you keep it up, and you'll top Jack Kerouac with ease. You're in the making of your own on the road. :)
