I love that your first thought isn't 'going to jail would be terrible and I'd be a convict' or 'terrible things could happen to me in jail!' but 'i wonder if i can write my thesis in jail...'
Dedicated we are, practical we are not.
I almost called you at 10:30 this morning to say 'why aren't you in lecture? today is animal behavior and there's a video about lions mating!' but I didn't because those golden days are sadly over.

P.S. If you do get sent to jail, I'll visit and bring you cookies and thai food and such. We can have a picnic.

I actually really wish somebody would put me in a jail for the next two days. Then I might actually finish my Master's thesis without any distractions. (It's due Friday).

I'm sure you have nothing to worry about.

i visited a friend in jail recently, and it seems like there would be distractions there. unpleasant ones at that.
good luck with your thesis, are you planning a fabulous celebration when you're done?

Probably not the same distractions I am thinking of. At least not in an English jail (I hear your's are a bit less strict).

As for celebrations, there will be a big party tonight with people from my programme. I don't much like any of them though (they're all a bit odd in the ways that grad students often are) so I am not anticipating that it will be anything amazing. If it is, it will be a bonus.

Happy birthday for the 6th!

You laughed at me when I had to do jury duty and you determined that you were not going to have to do it anytime in the near future. So assuming that you don't go to jail and you don't have any huge penalities, I will laugh at you.
