Newest obsession
Holy crap, did I really just power through the entire first season of Dexter in less than a week? (And Christ, the season finale is freaking awesome.) And how had I never watched it before? OMG shoes.
I found my tennis shoes! Tennies, sneakers, trainers, plimsoles, daps, whatever you want to call them-- they are wonderful. I tore my (previously somewhat clean-- ::sigh::) room apart today looking for them, and I finally did.
This is actually pretty exciting because while my shoes were not that expensive, the orthopedic lifts inside them were. ( Read more... ) -

Also, my friend S. is currently going down the Mississippi on a raft that he and his friends BUILT THEMSELVES. The Coast Guard is apparently keeping an eye on them, but I am still certain that HE IS GOING TO DIE AND I WILL CRY. -

I got my new power cord in the mail, so now I have my computer working and therefore have internet access at home, not just at work! Hurrah!!! -

Feeling a lot better today, less anxious. I actually slept fairly well last night, and I just finished eating a real lunch. Plus my roommate has made it a goal to get me to start eating "real people food" (ie, not sandwiches for dinner all the time). Weekend update
This weekend has been pretty busy. Saturday was I was pretty productive-- I worked on sanding my desk, I went to the Willy Street fair (which was pretty neat but would have been better with slightly less hippies), I did some dishes, made a really nice dinner for myself, etc. etc. Today was less good. Ok, so a couple days ago I was drinking and stressed out so I bought a pack of cigarettes. Unfortunately it was late so all of the places that sell cloves were closed and I wasn't near any of them to boot.
