Surgery went relatively well. I feel like crap and the vicodin feels like it's doing next to nothing, but the ice-packs I've been keeping on my face off-and-on all day are like a dream. I took some mild sleep-aids with my most recent dose of vicodin about 40 mins ago, so I'm hoping I can eventually get some sleep today. I had planned on knocking ( Read more... )

I asked them why while I was still coming out of my anesthetics, so I don't really remember what they said. It must have been fairly convincing though, as I didn't argue.

Bummer about your teeth. I've heard from friends with experience that if their teeth cracked upon extraction, the dentist wouldn't give them up.

Oh, maybe that's why. I know they gave me a reason as to why I couldn't have them, but--as I told Marlan--I don't think I was lucid enough to pay attention to what they said XD

What!? That is so not cool. I got to keep my teeth. I have them in a little box somewhere in my room. I don't think i like your oral surgeon. No stitches, no teeth, not cool.

He actually did end up giving me stitches on the bottom two! Those disintegratey ones. They were scratching the back of my tongue all day yesterday *shudder*

I really did like this guy, though. He was very sweet and grandfatherly.
