If you are on Mac I highly reccomend Adium, if you are on PC check out GAIM. I prefer these third party chat clients since I can be logged into multiple clients on one platform with no bells or whistles or dumb ads.

My dear friend Janie, who subs classes in Sacramento, wrote this today, and I thought of you:

My students today didn't tell me they had a puppy in the classroom because they were afraid I'd tell the principal. Are you kidding me?! That would mean someone would have to come up and start meddling in my affairs, I'd have to work harder and look strict. It would make my students dislike me. And, most importantly, it would make the puppy go away!

I only saw the puppy at the end. She was small, and white, and fluffy. Maybe part bijon frise. Really tiny, only two months old. Highlight of my day.
