my goodness. my rookies did alright, and i'm about to call my girlfriend. I'm tired. Band takes it outta ya.

Anyway, I love playing my mellophone. i'm gonna miss it when i move on from band.

It's hard being a section leader. Harder than I expected, just from what people think you're capable of. The rookies especially kind of think I'm "that guy that never messes up" and I'm doing a *great* job of dispelling that image quickly. But still, I think they seem to like and trust me enough.
