I've definitely never cooked whale before, but I'd be willing to try! Um... I'm in the Bryant Park Hotel, and there's a restaurant in the building, so if you could get some of it there, I'd see what I could do? If you wanted me to.

I'm not much of a chef myself so I was kind of curious if it was possible. Heck, I'm not even sure I would be getting the right pieces for you but I guess any bit of meat will do, right?

But I do agree. With appropriate herbs, perhaps garlic and marjoram and prepared in the manner of a steak of tuna, a whale steak could perhaps be most palatable. It could even support a dry Cabernet, if one could be found. I'm sure there are intact abandoned wine cellars remaining.
