Please tell me there's not two monsters in the river mating...

Oh, wait, I guess they could be fighting. Never mind...

It's like seeing the Discovery Channel or Animal Planet in real life.

sex addict, monster mayhem, i smell sex and candy

None, recently. Someone out there won't let us have cable.

I am uncertain which it is, even with a view this close.

If it is a mating practice, it is no wonder the monsters seem a rare species.

You know, you have a point. How would any of us know whether or not they aren't ACTUALLY mating?

I dunno about that. It would depend on the number of off spring they have...look at Pray Mantises. Females eat the male after mating, right? Bugs lay lots of eggs though so the species isn't going to die out.

Being unaware of their biology, I would say it is difficult to tell.

This would be a reasonable assumption. Again, knowing little of their biology -

[There's a small burst of static as she cuts off, and then a pause.]

It would seem this act, whatever its true intent, is displacing quite a bit of water.

Yeah. It would help to have a little knowledge on these things. It's not like they're in an encyclopedia somewhere.

Huh? Oh, crap, you mean they're going to flood the city?

.... And did the monsters have their own program on Animal planet?

Whichever it is, I do hope they finish soon. The noise is quite an annoyance.

Sadly, no. That would have been helpful, wouldn't it?

We can only hope. Might I suggest finding some earplugs?

Quite.

And earplugs only drown out so much of the noise. But I will accept the suggestion. And continue to watch the scene from the safety of several miles away.

I think one of them wanted to ride shotgun and the other got the short end of the stick.

That's what that noise is?

It's the monsters, yes. Although it is still up in the air whether it's mating or fighting.

I'm tempted to suggest both, but I don't really care. It's only irritating to me.
