I've been reading the journals of Charles Baudelaire lately.

"What is Love?
The need to emerge from oneself.
Man is an animal which adores.
To adore is to sacrifice and prostitute oneself.
Thus all Love is prostitution."

I love Jack Micheline! I didn't even know anyone else read him. I remember the first time I read him in the Outlaw Bible of American Poetry. I was 16 and remembering thinking he had it all over Kerouac.
