I've always been comfortable alone. Never the sort of person to need someone. Still don't. In fact, I enjoy all of the time I have to myself at my apartment. Alot of time is spent at the bar, being drunk, talking to strangers, watching sports. I realize I want something. I'm not really sure what. I'm living in Philadelphia now. It's not too bad even though I'm SURROUNDED by frat houses. I live within walking distance of a co-op run bar and produce stand and the aforementioned bar has live bluegrass/old-timey folk and country on Thursdays. You can get a double of Jim Bean or Evan Williams and a can of PBR for $3. I spend ALOT of time there. ( Read more... )

i quit smoking. it's been 4 days. i'm doing better than i expected. my cat is dying. he's constantly losing his balance. he falls over. we think he had a stroke. i don't want him to suffer but at the same time he really is my best friend. i know it's time to let him go. it should be noted that unlike alot of people who are sentimental over pets for ( Read more... )
