So I got this book from the Macomb Library. McDonald's Behind The Arches, by John F. Love. The men that made McDonalds are pure genius. PURE FUCKING GENIUS. Except the part where they are slave drivers. oh, and that they own sweat shops..a.k.a. McDonalds Family Restaurant. Well, okay they aren't quite sweat shops, but they do pay like they ( Read more... )

geez Laura, you say destroy the rainforests like its a bad thing! Didn't you see the south park, rainforests kill thousands every year! Clearly we should thank dick for saving ourlives. Without dick, we'd all be fucked. I don't know where we'd be without dick. Also, I'd like to hear a conversation about Latin America based on pants/lack of pants.

Discussion of the Rainforest based on pants/lack of pants:

The nationalistic governments of latin america fiercely protect their right to develop natural resources which they own. This nationalism is directly linked to the nationalistic movements of the French Revolution, led by a political party known as the Sans Coulottes. This group, whose name literally means "without pants," fought ardently for the rights of the french people to benefit from the wealth of the nation. Similarly, the nations of latin america fight to spread the benefits of their environmental wealth to their people.

true dat scott! fuck the rainforest! and fuck dick!

oh oh oh, and those small children that help to cut down the rainforest for 10 cents an hour can't buy pants because they can't afford to, therefore, they don't wear them. so basically they are part of the american culture, "no pants fridays"

Lets look at this with a broader lense.

Annually, McDonald's buys so much meat that the United States, as vast as it is, is unable to provide the necessary meat to keep the corporation running. Consequently, McDonald's turns to foreign meat from Australia and New Zealand to alleviate its shortfalls. The benefit to the United States cattle raisers, along with the benefit to the peoples of Micronesia, more than alleviates the small damage that McDonald's could be held directly accountable for in Latin America.

Who is really at fault for the destruction of Latin America is the stupid Latin American's themselves, who are so ignorant that they build damns without cutting down the trees in front of them. When the trees build up in the form of silt they make the damn economically unfeasible, thereby throwing the latin people back into poverty.

The solution, cut down more trees, not less.

The result, wealthier mulattos, less deforestation.
