Wow...I love the colouring so much in these icons!

I really love how creative you are with your use of textures. I've troubles choosing a favourite one, but I think I'll go with "monochromatic". Even though "gradient" and "filter" look so great too! Girl, you seriously have to stop making such gorgeous icons! <3

Awww, thank you so much, Maelle! Drake's one of my fave rappers right now, and he surprisingly inspired me a lot in the past 2 weeks. I'm so glad you lik the batch and appreciate the crazy explanations! :)

Yay! That was the first thing I made, and I was hoping that people wouldn't be sick of me using that damn texture repeatedly. DRAKE.

Not that I love him but I do enjoy his music. It's a little bittersweet at times.

I love your entire set. Love the colours and the textures used. My favourites are

grunge - I love the colours. The red/purple combo is always lovely.
filter - The filter used is kind of kicky and the end result looks a lot fun y'now?
monochromatic- love the colours and the 3D text effect.
text - I like purple as a colour. I can't help it. Plus he looks so pensive despite the text. I feel like that icon is representative of his music. He knows what he deserves but at the same time it isolates him a bit. ( Icons should not inspire such deep thought processes. But there you go. Or should they? :O)
pattern - I LUFF it and I LOVE that texture.
From the alternates, I love the sepia toned one. Very moody. :)

I didn't get the big deal about him at all until a few weeks ago. Now I listen to his songs all the damn time, Pips!

grunge - It's so subtle that I was afraid it might not even look grungy on some people's monitors. At least it came out properly on yours!
filter - This is more eclectice-looking than lots of the other stuff which is why I dig it. So glad you like the end result, too!
monochromatic - My fave here without a doubt. HOORAY FOR YOU LIKING THE 3RD-ISH TEXT! <3 ( ... )

Marvin's Room is one of my faves right now. It feels very wistful and raw.

I was just asking at my icon journal if anyone overanalyzes icons as much as I do, and surprisingly, some of my friends do, too! It's fun, and honestly, it sometimes can't be helped!
