I don't dislike Tyler Perry himself, but I completely agree with you on disliking all of the things he's made and this little empire that's grown out of his work. When I first heard about Diary of a Mad Black Woman, it was the strong woman/bad man/better man story, and the artsy posters to go with it. When, a few months later (for the DVD release) I saw Madea, linked with the name DoaMBW, my first thought was that they had to be from two different things with the same title. Because no way could those two images coexist, right? and yet
