Happy Groundhogs Day everyone!

So I've got a new job (the one I wrote about earlier). I applied for it in November, interviewed in December, had to give them loads of crap in January and my start date is....... March 26th. Welcome to the NHS, where time stands still.

I've decided to become a food mule to pay for the trip to the States. It is amazing how expensive it is to get American food here, and how willing people are to pay for it. For example, the cheapest I have seen a box of Lucky Charms go for is £9, which is almost $18! If I smuggle 100 over and sell them, then I will have more than paid for my trip. ( Read more... )
