So everytime I go out now, I find myself (1) proclaiming that I'm hispanic, (2) defending hispanics from the ever prevalent grigos, or (3) doing something stereotypical that makes bystanders say "Yeah, she must br hispanic". So it has been an eventful week. I got elected to be the Secretary for the Latin American Student Organization (LASO). SO that was pretty cool. Umm I did alot of homework. Peru rocked, friends back home rock, the salsa show is Satuday is gonna rock, everything is goin good.....and its prolly gonna hit the fan soon so I'm enjoying as much of it as possible.

So this will probably be my only journal entry from Peru. I actually wish I didn’t have this chill time. The reason I have so extra time is because this morning, my great uncle Juan, one of my great-grandma’s sons, died from cancer. SO this weekend was probably the most fun I've had in awhile. Friday night, I went out with Lorena and Jessi and we got our pictures taken at Springfield Mall.
