It's a shame, for how close we live to one another, that we don't spend much time together.

I love you John. Not in a cheesy (or gay) way, by any means. More in a 'I didn't realize that the silly banter over hookah and poker was something that I'd miss 4 or 5 years down the road' kind of way...
...but I remember playing poker, cooking dinner with/for Kacie where you did most of the cooking and I just boiled water and how you started Arizona Hookah and wanted me to join and post and such.

Although, if I was pressed, I'd have to say that once someone knows they're loved by someone else that it tends to be taken for granted and I'd rather be left with the memories to look upon. I guess it's becacuse hindsight's 20/20, but the love's there in a way you never would have seen in the moment...but it's something that can never be tainted because we can't change the past.
