Sometimes you gotta wonder....
Even though I'm not active as a Paid or a Volunteer Firefighter (I'd do Volley Work in a Minute if I lived close enough to a Volley Station), I still keep close tabs on the goings on with my local Fire Department.

A date that will now hold special meaning for me as far as my tenure in STARFLEET is concerned.
Today, I accomplished a goal that, honestly I thought would never happen.
Today, I was awarded the inaugural STARFLEET Flag Officer of the Year Award for 2004.
My only regret is that this is the first IC since I became RC that I actually missed...
