Yesterday was a good day!
Visit to the Nutritionist and I lost 17.2 lbs since August. I'm now scheduled to get my new CPAP machine on Monday. And the Boston Red Sox won the World Series!

what happened to my userpic?
I just noticed that my userpic changed from my rosebud nebula image to the pretty pink rose.
It's pretty, but wasn't anything I uploaded.
Does anyone know why it should suddenly change? -

new phone, no memory
So I decided that since I was happy enough with my AT&T plan, I would stick with them and see what they could do for me. The first attempt was trying a new battery, but that didn't work. Then they tried a new sim card, but that also failed. So I got a new phone. A basic Nokia, but the basic now has a built-in camera!

My mother's war story
Bruce Schneier posts about female suicide bomber warnings. This reminded me of a story my mother told me about the first time she was living in Israel.

Double Feature
I was getting my typical Christmas Bah Humbugs... It really didn't help that there was no power at work on Monday, since that meant it was harder to do what I needed to get done at home.
