Man, I have to say that I'm a conservative kid when it comes to alcohol (ie when one of my friends says they're going to get drunk with a couple of friends at a party, i get nervous, and feel pressured to give them the "oh really now" face).

But...just a sip? What's to freak out about? All I know is that whenever mom gets a bottle of the ol' Wine out, i'm the first one to take a swig. You know, for the safety of the family. To make sure it's not poisoned, or anything.

Yeah, that's it. Right. :D

Friends list, add me up! I'll most certainly be a loyal reader ^^

I gotta tell you Alex, I have to agree with Ross on this one. Just because of how you made it sound in that entry: "but yeah, just thought that i would let everybody know that yes, i have had a sip of and slcoholic beverage...just in case that avyone thought that i was too much of a goodie goodie to do that...but, yeah, that's all." You make it seem like that's why you drank in the first place, to prove you're not a "goodie goodie" and that you had to write it in your journal proves the point. And that's not you...who are you trying to prove this to?
Idk tho because I wasn't there...but I hope I'm wrong.
I'm not trying to sound bitchy or accuse you of falling victim of peer pressure...I'm just saying to keep that in mind. And I hope you don't take what I said the wrong way but I'm just saying it because you're such a good friend and you should know that you can tell me these things.

i didnt drink to prove a point, Bob (changed the name for secrecy) was having some, i wasnt planning to drink anything at all, but bob offered me some and i said sure, i'll try some, so i did. and that was it. there was no big thing about it at all. it was so insignificant that i forgot about it the day we got back and havent thought about it since, until last night that is...but yeah, the way i wrote it did seem as if i was trying to type it to prove a point, but that's a mistake on my part, i wasnt trying ot do that at all, my bad...

omgigosh kids dont make such a big deal out of it :o We all know that Alex isn't going to do something uncharacteristic like go out and get wasted with a bunch of kingpins and a Vegas hooker.

That's just not her style.

But a sip of liquor isn't going to be detrimental to her health or wellbeing. It's like a toddler having a sip of his dad's beer. If he's small, he might be a little woozy, and no matter what, he'll say he's drunk, but no harm done. If it was a little bit of weed, or a little bit of heroin, then hey, maybe i'd be worried.

But it ain't :D

Alex has a stronger will than those that succumb to "peer pressure".
