I drift…

The rising and setting

of the summer sun

paralleled with our interaction.

Oh, how I longed to plant

myself next to you,

with you,

on you;

but the soil you provided

has fed me to nothingness.

Searching like a camel

in a dry desert-

I scavenged for nourishment,

feeding off of my hope for an

oasis.

Will it come?
