It is Saturday and the only event taking place in my building is an internal one which means not only do I have the day off but my brain isn't secretly taking on the responsibility of what may or may not happen in my absence. Yay ( Read more... )

Ah yes, Saving Hope - I must give that a try. I have two seaons of Supernatural on my to-watch shelf - must make time for that. Also mention of Michael reminded me that Continuum (Lexa's new show) airs here at the end of September. That looked worth a watch.

Actually, this is Karen, who right now has an infected face with a big ole gum/jaw thang happening. Sigh.

Anyhow, Aint it Cool News has a review of the Dredd film, and after reading it I would say ... really, don't go. By all means read the review but I think you'd be insane to subject yourself to that film.

Couldn't find the AICN review, but I'm currently in the not going corner. Think the boys in the household can go and see this on their own.

Yeah, review seems to have vanished, but if it's to be believed the violence in this thing is off the charts, to pornographic levels, and makes me very sad. Urban is too good for this kind of dehumanising trash.
