NEWS helped me in so much different ways. I started being fan of NEWS this New Year due to Johnny’s Countdown. The moment that I saw them sang “fly awaaaaaayy, far awaaaay.. go aheaaaad, do your besssstt” I was like GOD THEY ARE SO GOOD. I had a chance to grab a copy of Strawberry concert, and hell, I still listen to them on my way to work, during my breaks, even when I go to sleep. I didn’t have any NEWS materials then. I started joining lj communities and followed twitter accounts. I became obsessed with them. Now I have their albums on my phone. Had the chance to watch Neverland, Epcotia, Epcotia Encore. GOD THE PROGRESS! They really are fun to watch especially during MC, I got to get to know them more. They bring me joy, tears, sexiness and all emotions. Loved Epcotia. Cried over Nyanta. DANCED TO SAKURA GIRL, CHANKAPAANA, IT’S YOU, LPS, WEEEEEK, SUMMER TIME, KOI NO ABO, DTF, should I continue? There’s a lot to mention. =)) Cried on every IKIRO songs they perform. And U R Not Alone. many songs of NEWS have always been with me since I met the group.
But lately I have nightmares and wake up with anxiety crisis at night, and some songs, mainly madoromi are helping me to calm down. They're like (omamori songs)amulets that give me strength when I'm weakened, like when the soul need a deep breath.

Along with “Hikari no Shizuku”, I listened to “Flying Bird”, a song that calmed my heart while resting on my bed after each session, always breaking into tears with the verse ‘With everything at stake, I run towards tomorrow until that dream I saw comes true’.

I remember the first time I broke into tears with a NEWS performance was when I watched “Full Swing” from Utsukon. I couldn’t believe I was so close to lose my boys, yet this was their first step to create more beautiful songs. So, certainly, this is the ultimate phrase that always accompanies me in every aspect of my life: ‘The dream hasn’t ended yet’. Of course it hasn’t! Because I still believe there’s a dream even brighter awaiting me at the end of the rainbow.

all of us know that NEWS been through a lot these past years and yet they still remain strong and makes music for us to enjoy. but how NEWS have helped me through life? for me as a fan, NEWS gives me the boost and motivation to pursue what i want, and to pursue my dreams...like what 'hoshi wo mezahite' says 'aim for the stars'. for me it means a lot abd that we shouldn't stop dreaming and to continue what we are currently doing right now. though there are hard abd rough times, let us keep pushing and doing what we wanted ( ... )
