Wow, you weren't kidding when you said this pretty much tackled you fully formed. It's lovely, with that Season 2 vibe I miss.

Cordy-as-Athosian makes me snort.

Tackled me, pinned me, and stole my lunch money. But it ended up being a great way for me to be reminded why I loved this show beyond reason when I loved it, without having to think about some of the things later on I, uh, didn't love.

Livia pointed out that Cordy would make a great Athosian, though I think my version of her was different than Livia had imagined, and also that the people of the Pegasus galaxy have taken it upon themselves to fill the billowy coat gap left by the end of ATS. So I can mostly only take credit for execution. *g* I'm glad you liked it!

So wonderful! I was hoping someone would do Angel, and this was perfect. Couldn't stop giggling when Cordelia, sorry, Corta gave him the coat.

As Livia noted, there are a lot of billowy coats in the Pegasus galaxy! I'm glad this was what you were hoping for -- it was ridiculously fun to write as well.

Well, there's the two sentences of coat-off between Ronon and Mal in my response to Nestra, above, but I don't have other plans for the characters right now. You never know when inspiration's gonna strike, though...!

Awwwwww! That was lovely. I gotta say, though, that Mal made me think of Firefly Mal and I had to focus to remember that he's Angel... kinda.

The fact that the name worked out to be Mal was the sheerest dumb luck -- in my original idea, he'd been in a church in Bosnia, and his name was a shortened version of the Serbian word for angel. But I couldn't make it work out historically, and then the Firefly resonance was too good to pass up. Sorry if it confused you -- I kind of liked the unintentional link between the 'verses!
