I got a maternity leave position...it isn't for the whole year but at least it is a job right?

Heck YEAH! It's a job... a foot in the door... something to put on the resume that says "Yes, I really can control a classroom, write lesson plans, and deal with all the other crap a teacher gets"

Congratulations. Good luck getting a permanent gig. Where will you be teaching btw?

Just so you know, I work with three men who's names are often women's names. So you might not be so lucky as to have an all female class.
