Everything Archie

Progress
In spit of interruptions and distractions the novella is still moving along smoothly. I'm at around 5000 words so far. Was hoping to be a little further into it, but I'm still pleased with what I've got so far ( Read more... ) -
Update
On a few things.
I recently self-published a collection of short stories. Nothing spectacular, but I'm okay with them. It's only $5 at Lulu
The eighth novel is coming along slowly. But I have given myself until the end of February to finish and it should be done by then.

Novel update
I've not been writing on it as much as I'd hoped. Not making any excuses. I gave myself a comfortable deadline and I am still going to make it. I have made the adjustment of it now being most likely a novella. I think that's all I'll need to tell the story and I see no reason to pad it out to get a higher word count ( Read more... ) -
Making Progress
I got my external floppy drive for my PC yesterday. And now that I know for sure that it works and I'll be able to access what I've written on the word processor I'm making a more solid effort on writing the novel. I've already gotten around two thousand words on it total. About fifteen hundred of them just tonight. And I'm not done for this ( Read more... ) -
Follow up
To my earlier post. I spent all day putting together a collection of short stories and other assorted writings that I did from 2006 through 2009. Taking Things Seriously
I am trying to take this writing thing serious. I have started on the novel, my eighth one to my surprise. If I can actually have written that many then I should be pursuing this with a little more dedication ( Read more... )
