I am Orpheus as well. I don't think it entirely suits me, but I'll take it. It brings to mind a bit of "Indigo Eyes" by Peter Murphy: The playmate sings like Orphee in some thunderworld asking to be bathed in light, to be exemplified. (By the way, I am certain I made eye contact with Mr. Murphy while he sang this very line in 1995 during his "Wild Birds Tour" concert stop in Michigan. Hence the lyric has a special meaning to me.)
