We found a house!
I'm so exited! We just signed a bid on our new house. The realtor just called and said it has been accepted. It's still in the city of Oregon. We had to do that because of Lora needing to stay in the school district. It's a really cool house and big. The streets aren't safe even in broad daylight anymore.....
I just got the most horrifying news when we went to pick up "The Niblet" tonight. My sis-in-law that is going to school in Chicago just got mugged this afternoon. It was in broad daylight as she was on her way to her work. She had just gotten off the bus when a man with a gun held her up. I hate buracracy!
GRRRRR Just called Department of Employee Trust Funds trying to get my fund released. After all the paperwork they made me sign and all the hoops jumped through. They are now telling me it will be 90 to 120 days before I will be issued a check. Which in and of itself isn't bad, except that will be the approximate time period that we will be moving ( Read more... )
