Have you seen that Gatorade commercial with the feet on the street and the basketball court planks fly into the street? The one with Lou Reed's Walk on the Wild Side as the soundtrack?!?! I think the people who select music for commercials secretly get off on using music that is entirely inappropriate.
I remember seeing some car commercial a few years ago featuring The Dandy Warhols' "Godless." I remember thinking "No one in America who could afford that car would buy it if they knew the name of that song."

haha, awesome.

I remember "I think I need a new heart" by the magnetic fields being in a commercial... for dog food. google says dog food at least. I'm not sure that song should be selling anything. I mean, the lyrics "I always say I love you when I mean turn out the lights" sounds kind of bad. And not what you'd put on a dog food commercial.
