Today I found a spider at work in the back room. Not just any spider, though. We have these locally (warning: what do you think you're going to see when you click that link). I personally don't have a problem with spiders. This was way too good a chance to pass up, though. I gently picked it up with a jumper. And put it on my boss's work area

I opened your spider-link in a new tab. Now it's loaded and I have the words 'giant house spider' lurking in the tab next to this one. The original plan was to peek at it from behind my hands until I found out it was apparently GIANT. I am maybe just going to close it again without looking instead.

(I ended up seeing a BRIEF FLASH of spider-leg, which was MORE THAN ENOUGH.)

They're actually quite cute irl, if that helps. And they don't move very fast.
