It was final tonight; he passed at 8:16 pm. We actually got a priest from his local church to read him his last rights around 4 this afternoon. At least he's though with all his suffering.

I just want to say that at first I was a bit uncomfortable with being there for the Last Rites, but now I'm glad. Your dad was a good guy, hun, and he loved you and your mom and your sister and your family very much. He'll be here in our hearts through the memories we shared and our dreams.
