i assume that the object of this game is to untie yourself from the tubes? or is it just another way to get two people to be close to each other for awhile?

NO NO, you put a marble in at one end and get it to the other through the tubes...its hard when the marble has to go up...me a kerri where on top of each other on the ground at one point....they even videotaped when we played it...it tooks us like 4 tries until we finally got it!
