Have u seen Neil Gaiman's mini-series 'Neverwhere' yet? I've heard from people that it's something that all Gaiman fans must watch, but still don't know if it's worth forking the money over for it...

I've heard of it, but I'm not sure if I want to see it. When I read the book, I kept seeing a movie playing in my head, eventually I may want to make that movie, and I don't want to be needlessly influenced.

Yeah, I think that's what happens to anything I read in a novel before seeing...

Well, yea, but this one was way more so than anything I've ever experienced, even Wind-Up Bird. I was seeing camera movements, angles on actors, the colors and motifs for characters, everything that most people don't think about when they watch a movie but needs to be thought of when making it. It was like as I read the book I was reading teh script with all the cues written in the margins. Very bizarre.
