My husband is so sweet. He woke up yesterday morning to cook me eggs in a birds nest. It was delicious! Then for dinner, he brought home Chinese food. He pulled the seats off the couch and made a snuggle nook in the living room so we could watch Les Miserable and he could hold me when I inevitably cried. I want to sit at a pottery wheel and feel the wet clay in my hands, smell the smell of it, put the created piece in a kiln, fire it and put it in my home.

I want to dig a hole in my yard, put a pond in it and fill the pond with water plants that entice frogs to start their families there.

I have an orientation call this morning for a transcription job I'm hoping will help me generate and income while I stay home and be pregnant and after the baby arrives. I have been slowly training for the position for over a month now and I'm looking forward to it actually starting to pay off. Baby stuff is expensive. I'm trying to be as much of a ( Read more... )

Things are going well. I had my second prenatal appointment yesterday and the midwife said everything's going great. I'm training for a transcription job I can do from home on my laptop. My birthday is off to a nice start. I woke up to freshly baked delicious flaky biscuits made by my sweet husband. We then proceeded to watch a movie called "Once." So I had my first prenatal visit today with the midwife Jatolla. I really liked her. She confirmed that my estimation of being 17 weeks along is probably pretty close. She did a Pap smear and urine test, so I'm curious to get results back on all that stuff. I don't get lab work done very often, if ever, so I'm not really sure what they might find. ( Read more... )
