Hah! I just finished my Top Gun themed power point presentation about coming of age novels for English.

I can't sleep anymore. The dreams are too magnificent. It forces me to come to grips with how lonesome I've become, and how high my standards are. To know what you want to do, to know that what you want exists, to awake anything but disappointed is bliss.

After much thought, and a few nights of morale breakdown, I have decided to attend the University of Massachusetts Amherst next year. I really liked the social scene when I visited last year, and because I can attend classes at surrounding prestigious colleges and Universities (along with the plethora of programs UMASS offers itself), I imagine it' ( Read more... )

Nothing is quite so gratifying as getting to know (really know) someone new. Not to be confused with meeting new people, which can be as inconsequential as shaking someones hand at a party, but getting to know the person's views on things, figuring out how they tick. So i've applied to three colleges as of now.

Goucher College
Champlain College
and
Umass Amherst

I have already been accepted to Umass, and will most likely get into the other two schools. Maybe I should apply to some really reach schools?
