S makes me sad that our in-common IRL friends didn't ever bother introducing us.
She is uncommon. She has a heart that is deep and a mind to go with it, both of them challenging and fierce.

She also has a smile that lights up the whole damn room.

S has been such fun to know through the years. I'm one of the people Polly should be mad at but I stick the defense that I thought they already knew each other!

S has shared so much of her inner self with me and she does it with verve, humility and wit. She's one of my mom-sisters and I'm proud to be her friend.

I am glad I met N3m3sis42 this year through Idol, and am looking forward to getting to know her better, even though I think we've lost touch a bit since Idol ended. One thing that sticks out in my mind was when she thought I was mad at her about something, and she wrote me to ask about it. So many people would just skulk and wonder or assume, and I'd much rather be with folks who just say, "so what's the deal?" (esp since I'm often clueless that people think I don't like them). :)

A very nifty person with a talent for wording. There's a lot of awesome feels in my head, but there's not really words for them, but definitely someone I'm happy to have in my life.

I'm going to join the chorus of people who are describing her as awesome. Because she is. We have a lot of fun whenever we talk, and I get a kick out of both her Cliffton stories and the stand-alones (the one about the car mechanic neglecting his job to do LJ Idol is a classic!)

First of all, gave me the best damn compliment I've received in a while, so thank you so much.

Secondly, I feel pretty close to S because I feel like we went through a very similar "crisis" (through lack of a better word) with child birth, raising and work, and I've really, really loved seeing how writing took off for her, grounded her while giving her wings. And she's so damn good at it, to boot. Love all of it. All of it.
