Writer's Block: Sarah Palin?

Liability.

The woman is clearly out of touch with reality.

“Bush has protected the American people!” she proudly declares.

Yeah. Tell that to the American soldiers. I’m sure they’ll agree. Even people not directly involved in the war are suffering because of Bush’s messed-up economics. What exactly has he protected us from?

I'm looking forward to the fall election and getting rid of Bush I just hope women and older people don't fall for Macain's tactics.

It's a hard one to call. The brute fact is, they didn't win. But, Palin certainly has some appeal amongst some Americans. She did offset the stern image presented by McCain, which is bad. She also added to the Republican party those qualities that some people felt were unattractive about Obama : She is young(ish) and inexperienced.

I truly have no idea at all how Bush is supposed to have protected the American people. Certainly he attacked the homeland of Al Qaeda, but that's not the same thing as defending American soil. He increased homeland security measures, but who wouldn't?
