Thank you! I'm glad you liked it. I kind of felt like that when I was writing it. :)

Something about this just make me want to cry. The sheer yearning of Sirius is so real here, and my heart broke a little every time he seems to recall his other life and the other (his) Remus.

Wonderful, amazing and beautiful.

Thank you for the lovely comment. I am so, so happy that Sirius' yearning came across. I'm also pleased that him remembering his former like came through in Remus' eyes. Thank you so much!

Oh man. As I've said already, I'm so goddamned lucky as your artist to get this story. This is above and beyond what I could ever have hoped for. The feel and chemistry and love and attraction woven in and out of this is what I so desperately wanted to portray with my art, and I'm just SO excited to show everyone this story and show-off how lucky I am. This story makes me want to jump up and down and squee.

Sirius seizes the door handle and strides into the bookshop, wondering how long it'll take him to get Remus to tell him he's a werewolf.
Aww, this is so sad yet so cute at the same time. It shows his love for him, that it's so insignificant a decider in how he feels to him that it's a game.

Remus loves those moments for the flex in the man's biceps as he works the book out, and finds himself packing the books more tightly into the shelves, as well as putting more books higher up. Mr. Flourish has had a chat with him twice.
I've loved this since the first draft I read.

Remus is glad he's worn his best shirt, and that ( ... )

First, thanks again for all of your support and cheerleading through this. You and your beautiful art really helped it come out as it did. I was writing it with you in mind and I am SO happy that you liked it. I am thrilled that the chemistry and love came across. That was what was in your drawing and I was just trying to put it into the words as it seemed to fit in my mind. Gryffindor J suggested several of the points to mention Remus being a werewolf in her first read. I'm glad those worked. Of course, I really wanted the crush aspect to come across, as different as it was for each of them, and I'm thrilled that it did. Aww, yes, Sirius luuurrrrves him. :D

And you did draw more!! ♥

Just thought I'd say hi since I've just said hi over there. ;D

This was really compelling. Though I’ve read a few alternate reality stories, I’ve never quite read anything like this. Honestly, it was one of those times I just sat glued to the sofa unable to do anything else but read. This may sound stupid, but it was one of the best takes on alternate reality (kind of a fave subject) that I’ve experienced in a long time.

I love that Sirius somehow knows that this is real and yet not his own time line. Yes, at times that realization was hearbreaking, but it added a cool new dimension to the story. Sirius began to shake with the impossibility of absorbing one more loss. Gawd that killed me, but it very much set the tone.

There's a hollow place in Sirius' chest, deep down in the most selfish part of him. He has James, Lily, and Harry back, all perfect and healthy and together, and it's wonderful, but not enough. It's the height of hubris to ask for more when he has been given so much. He can't help it ( ... )

Oh my thank you! What a wonderful comment and so fabulous to read. Thank you. I can't imagine anything better to hear than that you sank into it to that extent. This was a different AU for me as well and I'm really glad it worked. I was concerned it would be confusing and I was missing all sorts of time space continuum thingies, but then I took a deep breath and remembered that wasn't the point of this one. Yes, the point was, they had to be together. I'm so glad that them having different perspectives in this worked as well. I'm also thrilled that you liked the characterizations. That art is wonderful, isn't it? The tension in it and the excitement. I'm really happy you think I got that-- that was my main hope, really, to do that justice.

They can both be real, right? Maybe this can be realer?? :)

THANK YOU!!
