Tomorrow morning I leave for 3.5 weeks in the Philippines and China.  I've never been to either country before.  Going to go scuba diving, caving, give talks at various universities, attend a professional conference, shmooze with colleagues, walk along the Great Wall, take the bullet train, and hopefully not die from smog inhalation.   We'll see ( Read more... )
