For some reason I've never seen Moonlight before, but had heard good things. Well, now that I'm finally watching, I can't help but notice all the similarities to another series. Let's see:

Ok, so I expect the usual share of angsting about his/her exsistance and the wrongness of their relationship with a mortal from any modern day vampire, but this was like ticking boxes off the "Whedon's done this better before you" list. Really no surprise it got cancled after one short season.

Just show, that you can't know every vamp related thing out there. Especially not since SMeyers brought so much new stuff along with her. (I'm half tempted to get me one of those "I liked Vampires before the started to sparkle" icons.) Oh well, not everything that has fangs on the packet must be digestible. :S

I bet they'll say 'we got inspired by that story' as most copycats do, in the world of films anyways!

Hey, it was impossible to miss by the third episode and the Kraus' song erased any lingering doubt.

Or worse they claim to not see any similarities and swear they've never even watched the otehr show. ;o)
