I am a bit anxious. My mom got a call that she needed to be operated again, which will happen today. This time her lymph nodes will be removed to see how far the metastases are spread ( Read more... )

The results my mom got back are not good. The tumor cells are already in the lymph nodes. So she needs another operation in 3 weeks or so (when the scar is a bit healed from last weeks operation) and than all lymph nodes in her armpit will be removed and analyzed. After that the chemo therapy will start as soon as possible and its still discussed ( Read more... )

I am very happy and relieved. My mom was released from the hospital today ^__^. Although they kept her a day longer in the hospital than originally was planned she is okay. She got a problem with her eye but that is fixed. Luckily no sign of metastasis although the final answer should follow on Thursday. Although she was released from the hospital ( Read more... )
