Well today is the day: my mom gets operated. Last few days a lot of friends dropped by to wish her luck. I took her out for a coffee on a terrace and we just had some chit chat. Which was fun. If everything goes well she will be at her home tomorrow. The coming week is very tense. She will learn if she has to go into another operation if one of the ( Read more... ) -

Today I was called by a newspaper! They want to interview me and my boss about our project @.@ And they are coming tomorrow for the interview! I am really nervous. Hehe I better start thinking about what to say and what not to tell. And they were talking about taking a picture too >.> -

Guild wars
I am so excited! I am playing a game called Guild wars ^___^ Its really fun. And Yomi is also playing and helped me a lot yesterday! Hehe I even forgot to eat so I ate around 21:30 @.@
Hehe I played for another hour today. But I have to squash tonight >.> But yeah my body needs to be in shape also.

A short update: I am back from Italy. Luckily in one piece. The cab driver (from the airport to the hotel) ran into a bus… so I hit my head hard on the dashboard >.> Which gave me a real headache. The meeting itself went okay. I had 4 presentations to give in three days. All went well, but such thing really wears me out. I had a lot of fun with my ( Read more... ) -

Off to Genoa, Italy. I always feel exited when I have to travel ^__^. I am going with to colleagues who are also friends, so it will be fun and my friends from Philly, UK and Toronto are in the same hotel! So it should be fun.

some good news
Well my mom got the results from all her tests back and the results are good. *is very relieved* That means that one breast will be removed and that the lymph nodes will be checked after the operation and if needed they will removed in an extra operation. The operation will be in two weeks if all goes as planned. So I am a bit optimistic that the ( Read more... ) -
Some good and bad news
Some good and bad news. The lungs of my mom are clean. So that’s a relieve. However in three weeks she will be operated and one breast will be removed and therapy will start shortly after. Also during this operation the lymph nodes will be checked to make sure they are fine ( Read more... ) -

Well an update about my mom…. It’s not good. At first the photo’s made of her lungs were clean but later on a very small spot was seen. The reason that the photo’s were looked at again was that they know now more about the breast cancer she has. It’s the most nasty one and almost invisible to see on pictures and one that does metastasize very ( Read more... ) -
short update
Well the MRI-scan my mom had to undergo did go well. The results are known Wednesday and also the treatment plan. Luckily my mom is a strong women and is very positive that she will beat the cancer. I am however not that positive. I have seen it to often that the battle was lost. However I support her every way I can. Tonight that’s taking her to ( Read more... )
