They try to break your ego down in the beginning by being a bitch with the grades so that you improve and whatnot. Of course the standards have risen - think about where you are, after all. I'm sure you'll be satisfied over time with your progress, but yeah, it's a bitch.

Dude I knew a crucial part of my life was missing ever since the new year! The hard drive in my laptop had to be replaced, so I lost all of my bookmarks and stuff. =( And thus I lost the link to your lj. Wow we have soo much catching up to do. *sigh* I'M SO SORRY!!!

I hope you're still having fun at Stanford despite your english class woes. Don't worry, I'm sure you'll pull through! Maybe you should bring your viola to class and seduce the teacher into giving you an A with your lovely playing.

I'm gonna be home from March 9-18. I'm pretty sure I'm going to the Casti Centennial Celebration. The invite that they mailed to my house said 'free food and prizes.' They sure know how to entice college students. =)
