Dudes. I am back in CA. I am well. It was a great, great trip to NY and I will tell you about it later.

However, IN VERY IMPORTANT NEWS: while I was away, the Indian restaurant 4 blocks from my apartment went out of business. WOE! We ate there once every week or two and it is very, very sad that it is gone. RIP, Sabina.

I've had that happen to at least 7 places I frequented. I'm beginning to think I shouldn't go to good restaurants because I bring a terrible curse with me. (I've upped the number of restaurants in that list 3 times since I started the second sentence. The problem is bigger than I thought.)
